Captify Hits Morocco For The Annual Founders Trip

By Alice Brampton, Content Marketing Manager at Captify

We’ve travelled the world together, hosted Captify festivals and taken Cannes by storm. Life at Captify is fast paced and we know it.

Whether it’s a celebratory toast at The Royal Regret pub in our New York office or our legendary end of year celebrations, we always make sure to take the time to stop, celebrate milestones, get to know newbies and have a digital detox.

Many traditions that begin when a company is in its infancy often disappear as the company grows. This isn’t the case with Captify…traditions that began 8 years ago are now a core part of our DNA – whether that’s The Futures Board, The Founders Trip or the global summer and Christmas Parties that unite Captifyers from across the globe.

The Founders Trip is a flagship event in the company calendar, where Captify’s founders (Dom and Adam) take a group of Captifyers abroad. The Captifyers are nominated based on exceptional performance across the year and consistently living by the Captify values; Give a sh*t, Fail Fast, Building this Together and Unlimited Potential.

It’s a great chance for Captifyers from different teams and offices to take time away from their desks, get to know others and spend valuable time with Dom and Adam. Previous Founder’s Trips have visited the likes of San Francisco and Joshua Tree in California, last year the team hit Cannes in the French Riviera.

This year, six Captifyers (Erin McLin, Fred Coles, Jordon Mullings, Luis Grande, Ievgen Shevchenko & myself) from Kiev, London, Madrid and New York offices headed to Morocco for an action-packed few days. I’d joined shortly after the previous Founders Trip in 2018 and this year I was lucky enough to be chosen to go to Morocco.

We landed in Marrakesh before going to a luxury camp in the Agafay Desert and off roading on quad bikes across the sand dunes. The quad biking came to a dramatic end 20 minutes into the 2 hour tour… I’ll save that story for another time. We then headed to the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh, exploring the medina and souks. Our trip came to a bittersweet end as England lost the Rugby World Cup final, but we flew home with our heads held high after a truly incredible trip.

Whether its our annual Halloween dress-up for charity or The Founders Trip, all these traditions are a core part of the company culture. It’s what we live and breathe as Captifyers. We’re incredibly proud of our global team of 250+ global Captifyers who challenge the status quo every day.
