Marketing Manager

As an integral member of the global marketing team, you will be responsible for driving UK marketing and communications efforts and work in close partnership with the central team on their global initiatives and enablement of them in your market. Our team has grown from 1 to 10 people in just three years, with more exciting marketing growth planned in 2019.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Planning: with the Global Director of Marketing, build a stand-out calendar of activity to support UK growth with agencies, brands, publishers and trade press
  • Plan, activate and support activity at global industry events such as Cannes, dmexco, ATS London, Mindshare Huddle as well as Captify’s owned events in the UK
  • Plan and execute a calendar of tactical content and campaigns with Captify’s Search Intelligence at the heart of every strategy from calendar moments like Valentine’s Day to more piggyback reactions to big trends that occur in current affairs
  • PR: Work closely with the Global Head of Communications to create content and hit the headlines for the UK, from awards to client success stories and speaking opportunities
  • Partnerships: Work with the Global Director of Marketing to drive sticky partnerships with our clients whether that’s sponsorship of their events, thought-leadership or co-branded content
  • Be a business partner to the UK commercial teams by managing a calendar of agency workshops, brand workshops and stand-out creative branded activations across the media agency landscape. A strong bond with the sales team is essential
  • Communications – be a key marketing voice for the wider UK team, ensuring internally teams are up to speed on the UK marketing roadmap
  • Work with the global product marketing, content marketing and design teams on wider global initiatives and their effectiveness
  • Create a monthly report of how the effectiveness of marketing activity has helped drive new business, opportunities and awareness for Captify in the UK


What you’ll need to have…

  • At least three years’ experience in a marketing role within media or tech company
  • Degree in business, marketing, English or Media
  • Experience and knowledge of the digital advertising sector & competitive landscape
  • Proven excellence in grammar and content writing (portfolio will be requested)
  • Strong commercial awareness and knowledge of how marketing supports sales
  • Desire to do marketing differently, building and maintaining a brand that stands out
  • Strong communication skills
  • Great at planning and obsessive with detail and analytics
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and other MS Office programs
  • Proficiency in marketing platforms like Hubspot and WordPress
