Product Manager

Captify are looking for a Product Manager who will be responsible for product development, evangelisation, training, and maintenance.The right candidate will be responsible for helping with requirements gathering/documentation, tracking, and prioritisation of requests across the business.As the product owner, the Product Manager will work closely with the engineering lead to develop and maintain the product.This role reports to the Head of Product and requires an individual with superior attention to detail, solid communication skills and someone who is passionate about delivering high standards to clients in the advertising technology industry.

Here is what you will do:

  • Manage the development of products from requirements gathering to release
  • Define, maintain and communicate the product roadmap
  • Be the product’s subject matter expert
  • Evangelise the product internally and externally

You will also:

  • Define, maintain and communicate the product roadmap
  • Work closely with the business to define product requirements and prioritise new features and functionality
  • Work closely with the engineering team to prioritise and deliver these features and functionality
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing prior to product releases
  • Conduct defect investigation, documentation, prioritisation and coordination
  • Be the recognised expert in the business for the product
  • Contribute to product prioritisation and product strategy and the internal communication of those priorities and strategy
  • Contribute to release notes, product guides, and marketing collateral for each product release
  • Create and maintain product documentation
  • Evangelise the product internally and externally
  • Assist the wider commercial teams in relation to the product, including product demonstrations and training.
Who are you?

You have 1-3 years of experience within product management or a related technical field with at least 1 year of experience within the online advertising industry

You also:
  • Have high attention to detail, with an ability to test and verify functionality and fixes to defects
  • Have strong time management and organisational skills
  • Have strong people skills with the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently
  • Are creative and able to think strategically
  • Have the ability to prioritise requests to the benefit of Captify and our clients
  • Have the ability to work autonomously while still functioning in a team environment
  • Have experience in Jira or other product management systems (preferable but not essential)
  • Some understanding of data science and experience using reporting/analytics platforms would be hugely beneficial
