Technical Project Manager

Captify are looking for a Technical Project Manager who will be responsible for planning and delivering projects end-to-end.

The right candidate will possess strong project/program management skills and will have demonstrated experience working with business leaders, product managers, and engineering leads to drive complex software development and integration efforts.

You will have a well-rounded technical background in technology development and commercialisation.

You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to manage projects, develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but you are also willing and able to roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.

Here is what you will do:

  • Drive technical projects of work from conception to delivery
  • Manage the launch and go-to-market of new product releases
  • Identify strategic initiatives and business needs
  • Prepare and present succinct and actionable project statuses
  • Collect technical requirements and create specifications

You will also:

  • Be responsible for the planning, managing and successful completion of a portfolio of technical projects and initiatives
  • Drive cross-departmental participation, collaboration, and accountability for managed projects and programs
  • Work independently to manage and prioritise across projects
  • Understand business needs, product requirements, technical challenges and develop detailed and enforceable project plans
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to identify constraints, dependencies, risks, and to drive the delivery of features, integrations, strategic initiatives and product launches
  • Work with marketing and commercial teams to lead and coordinate the go-to-market of new product launches
  • Work with release management to plan and track product and feature releases
  • Hold internal teams and partners/suppliers accountable for the quality and timeliness of deliverable
  • Prepare and present succinct and actionable project statuses and reports to stakeholders and executives
  • Contribute to product and engineering process improvements to increase team productivity
  • Coordinate and contribute to product and engineering deliverables including PRDs, specifications, test plans, roadmaps and other documentation
  • Drive technical projects of work from conception to delivery

Who are you?

You have the proven ability to deliver projects within tight deadlines whilst demonstrating strong influencing skills and the ability to get things done.

You also:

  • Have a professional client presence
  • Have excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Have experience operating autonomously across cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams
  • Have the ability to maintain workflow and self-prioritise tasks effectively to hit deadlines
  • Have a self-starter mentality, able to work independently to complete work and thrive in a team environment. You are highly driven with an energetic attitude
  • Have hands-on experience of using adtech for digital advertising (desired but not essential)
  • Have an excellent command of the English language in both a written and verbal arena
  • Earn extra points if you speak any other additional languages

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor or Masters level degree desired. Preferable fields including Engineering, Media, Communications, Economics.
  • 2 – 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager or Technical Project Manager working in a cross-functional software development environment
  • 1+ years of experience in digital advertising technology
