Jon Block Joins Captify as Senior Vice President of Product
Established digital media executive joins Search company’s expanding global leadership team to help drive the evolution of its technologies
Captify, the global leader in Search Intelligence, today announced the addition of Jon Block as the company’s new Senior Vice President of Product. Block is a data-driven product evangelist who has run teams for several leading broadcasters and advertising companies, and will be based out of its London office. Block will be responsible for driving Captify’s product development and innovation and will report to the company’s senior leadership team to own and define the global product roadmap and strategy.
Block brings more than 20 years of experience working for a variety of companies in digital media and product development and will oversee Captify’s team of designers and product managers to ensure the continued evolution of the company’s groundbreaking suite of semantic advertising, planning, and publisher offerings. Previously, Block was VP of Product and Platform for Videology, which was acquired by Amobee in 2018, where he led the product development, solutions architecture and data strategy for clients across the EMEA region. Prior to Amobee, Block spent several years at ITV, heading up advertising innovation for the UK’s largest commercial broadcaster.
