MARKETING NEWS: Online searches for hybrids and electric vehicles are on the rise

The searches on connected cars made in the data network of Captify, a global company specialising in ‘Search Intelligence’, rose by 506% in the last quarter of 2018. This figure reinforces the report made by the consultant PwC in 2018, which included the trends that will transform the automotive market in 2030, such as electric, autonomous and connected cars. High-end brands lead searches for hybrid and electric cars, although at the moment they are only aspirational as their penetration in Spain is still limited.
